A low, grounded table composed of laminated wooden planks and ebonized to intensify depth and density. The layered construction remains visible within the surface, yet resolves into a single consolidated mass.

The stacked strata compress into a horizontal monolith, where weight and proportion establish the object’s presence. Structure and material remain legible, allowing the process of assembly to become part of the form itself.

Utility is embedded within the mass rather than articulated separately, enabling the work to function simultaneously as a table and as a concentrated architectural fragment.
